I had to re-install Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my Inspiron N and face big troubles with installing the network drivers. After several tries I am still not able to install the drivers for the network controller - it always shows the yellow triangle in the device manager.
On big issue is Dell driver R which won't be installed. Every time I start the installation routine it tells me, that setup is prepared - and then nothing, the installation window disappears. I do not know what to do, even Windows update couldn't find a suitable driver. Please help! Thanks a lot in advance! Have you installed the chipset drivers yet? The IDs you posted are for the Intel Centrino N for sure but some of the others look like chipset drivers.
Those should be installed from the Dell support site first. Resources Announcements Email us Feedback. Log In. New Discussion. Hi All! I've given the hardware IDs below. Tags: ll. All forum topics Previous Topic Next Topic.
