Well i put the disc in ran it via playonlinux and right before i installed it an error popped up saying insert install disc well the install disc has been inserted does anyone know how to fix this? Well now that works. None of the other fixes offered by Blizzard solved my problem but the burn seemed to work better than the actual disk.
What I ended up having to do is make a burn copy of the install disk to get by that particular issue with d2data. I found the best way to do diaboo for this paticular game is either 1 - Put the install cd into the tray and right click - explore. This is a long shot, but it has worked for me a couple of times. That's just a shot in the dark, but usually eliminating the simple solutions first works best for me.
